Let's Talk About Mental Health
Mr Tanvir Hossain, who has organised community health events since 2011, brought together multiple organisations to deliver this event on mental health, in both Bangla and English. The lead speaker was Dr Anis Ahmed, Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and then Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists' Volunteering and International Psychiatry Special Interest Group.

How to Set Up Your Own GramGP Clinic in Bangladesh
A community session with GramGP’s senior management team on establishing a UK-style GP clinic in a village in Bangladesh — joining a growing network of practices opened by UK-based sponsors in the name of their loved ones, and run by Bangladesh Rural Primary Health Initiative.

Medicine & Healthcare Careers and Mentoring Event
Mr Tanvir Hossain has run a widening-access-to-medicine programme since 2008. This event, hosted with Rotary Club of Nottingham Unity, continued that work — inspiring students towards careers in medicine and healthcare, with talks and mentoring on entry strategy.
